Awards Announced in Memory of Dr Kharak Singh

• Five “Dr Kharak Singh Excellency Awards” have been announced by Sardar Swaran Singh Tughalwal, Principal, Baba Aya Singh Riarki Girls College, Gurdaspur, Punjab, to be awarded to Five Deserving Students of the College, every year, in a Bhog ceremony of Akhand Path, performed in the memory of Dr Kharak Singh, every year. • Dr Gurbakhsh Singh USA has announced a “Dr Kharak Singh Memorial Award” to be awarded to the author of best essay / entry on a given topic (announced for students of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College for Boys, Chandigarh – 26), every year.
• The “Dr Kharak Singh Trust” has announced annual awards, “Dr Kharak Singh Distinction Award,” one each for Best All-Round (Boy & Girl) Students of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Baba Bakala, and toppers of Class X and Class XII of Village Rayya, Dist Amritsar.
