| Dr Kharak Singh was Member, Dharam Parchar Committee, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Amritsat, from January 1997 to May 2004. In addition, he figured prominently on almost every Committee that was formed by the SGPC to attend to various issues during this period, and even later. For instance, he was member of committees, such as: |
- Advisory Committee of All India Gurdwaras Committee;
- Nanakshahi Calendar Committee;
- Interviews (neyuktian) Committees, Monitoring Committee;
- Sikh Holy Centenaries (shatabdis) Programmes etc., from time to time.
